1.The League Entry Fee is 75 Euro per player including admin/reg fee, of which 60 Euro will go to the main prize pot.
2. All non-full members playing in the League will be subject to league match fees along with the entry fee. This is a capped 10 Euro fee per match and must be paid on the day of play or the hourly tariff will apply.
(Non-members can give a once off bundle payment of up to 50 Euro, covering them for all league match visits instead of paying per match or hourly)
To avail of this bundle offer, each player must pay the fee before the league begins or the capped match fee or hourly rate will apply!
3. All matches must be played during the sessions assigned.
You arrange the night to suit you and your opponent each week.
Book your table for the match using the online booking form.
Make sure you check the calendar beforehand for other bookings.
While League matches are a priority, you must book early. We need to accommodate members also so it's a first come first booked basis!.
4. The playing format is 1 match per week and each match consists of up to 4 frames.
The league may be spilt into 2 random groups depending on entries.
You play everyone in your group once.
2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw.
All players are given a handicap and must start every frame with that handicap!
The match winner texts the final result into the What's App Group when the match has ended.
5. Any match not played on the day booked or if no result is received by the end of the assigned session then the match will be voided.
6. It is the responsibility of both Players to ensure the match is arranged early in the week and played in the session it falls and is played on time.
This means either player can make the initial contact to arrange the match!
If both players leave it too late to arrange and play a match then it will be voided.
No carrying over matches to another session! (unless cleared by the event organiser).
7. Any player who forfeits more than 1 match will be disqualified from the league.
8. Any player found to be fixing results with intentional forfeits, purposely losing frames or otherwise will be deducted points and may even be disqualified from the league.
They also cannot claim any prize monies should they be in a prize winning position.
9. Any player who is in arears with entry / admission / match fees or other will not be able to claim any prize monies.
10. The payouts are usually for those in 1st and 2nd place.
The process for the remainder of the field for a 1 frame Shootout for 3rd place will depend on numbers entered. Players must fulfill a set criteria to qualify for this 1 frame Shootout to determine who takes 3rd place. (Aka: play all your league matches!)
11. Should 2 players finish with the same points, league places will be decided by head to head, and then by frame count.
12. Cash Prize fund for the League will always be based on the number of entries. This will be confirmed once all entry fees have been paid.
13. The number of places normally available in any League division is 10 - 12.
(This may be changed to benefit the league and players, depending on the number of entries)
14. The 1 frame shotout directly follows the League and will be on a set day and played to a finish. (20 minute timer per frame with a random selection process for each match)
15. A cash prize will be given to the first player making a century break in any league match.
16. A table which is deemed to be booked or assigned is unavailable for the duration of the match from start to finish.
17. Anyone using a table which is pre-booked for a match is required to move to another vacant or next available table. They can however be first back onto that table as soon as the official league match ends.
18. Regarding rules 16-18, if a table is booked and neither players have arrived up to a max of 20 minutes from the offical booked time, then the booking is void and the table is free for use/booking. Should the players then arrive they cannot re-claim their time-slot if the table is officially booked and being used!
19. In the event that someone is running late or they are not in the venue at the time that they are meant to play, the above booking rule still applies..
If they are not in the venue and the match has not started within 20 minutes after the booking time, then they not only lose the booking, they forfeit the 1st frame too.
Please understand, other members may be wanting to use the table, so you have to bare this in mind when you are wasting table time by being late or not showing up when supposed to!
20. Regarding late arrivals in rule 19, if by the 40 minute mark the opposing player still has not arrived then frame 2 is also forfeit. By the 60 minute mark the match is forfeit!
(Once the match is forfeit, this cannot be reversed and all points are awarded to the opposing player)
21. Official Rules of Snooker apply for the League with a max 3 miss rule shot allowed so long as a real attempt is made to get out of the snooker. If an attempted escape is deemed to be a bad effort or an intentional miss to leave a bad white after miss 3, then the opponent can have the white ball replaced again.
22. Players toss a coin to decide who breaks first. Alternate breaks throughout.
23. All Players are required to conduct themselves in a respectful, sporting manner at all times.
24. No official dress code is required for this event unless specifically requested for the purpose of photos, recording or T.V.
Rules and Terms may be added to or adjusted if required.
One-Frame (3rd place) Shootout Qualifying Criteria
Players must play all their League matches to qualify for the One Frame Shootout.
All Players finishing from 3rd to last place in the League are eligible.
It will be a completely random draw on the day!
There will be a 20 minute countdown timer for each frame.
The Player with the most points when the timer runs out will be the winner.
Again all rules of the league apply in order to qualify!
The Shootout is a straight knockout!
Depending on league results, handicaps may be altered for the Shootout.
